Ingredients
6 cups whole milk (or substitute with oat milk/almond milk)
2 cups heavy cream
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Optional toppings: whipped cream, mini marshmallows, chocolate shavings, crushed peppermint
Instructions
1. In your crock pot, add milk, heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, vanilla, and salt.
2. Stir well to combine all ingredients.
3. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure the chocolate melts evenly.
4. Once smooth and creamy, switch to the warm setting for serving.
5. Ladle into mugs and top with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips.
To make it dairy-free, use plant-based milk and coconut cream.
Add a cinnamon stick or a dash of nutmeg for a spiced variation.
