A bold one-pan Cajun Chicken Pasta with crispy breaded chicken, al dente pasta, and a creamy, spicy sauce that balances heat and richness. Perfect for a flavorful, hassle-free meal.
Ingredients
2 Chicken Breasts, pounded to ½-inch thickness
2 tablespoons Olive Oil
2 tablespoons Cajun Spice Blend
8 ounces Penne Pasta
1 cup Heavy Cream
1 cup Chicken Broth
3 cloves Garlic, freshly minced
½ cup Parmesan Cheese, finely grated
Salt, to taste
Instructions
Pat chicken breasts dry, season both sides with half the Cajun spice blend
Heat oil in skillet until shimmering, cook chicken 4-5 minutes per side until golden, transfer to plate
Bring 4-6 quarts salted water to boil, add pasta and cook until al dente
Drain pasta and return to skillet, add remaining Cajun spice to broth and garlic
Pour mixture into skillet, stir in heavy cream and Parmesan
Return cooked chicken to pan, gently simmer until sauce thickens
Serve warm, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired

Use vegetable broth for vegetarian version
Coconut milk replaces heavy cream for dairy-free
Adjust cayenne in spice blend for heat level
Add steaks/fettuccine instead of penne if preferred
