Description

A simple yet decadent layered dessert or breakfast, this Greek yogurt parfait offers a delightful combination of creamy, tangy yogurt, sweet honey, and crunchy walnuts. It’s a quick and satisfying treat with a harmonious blend of textures and flavors, perfect for any time of day.

Ingredients

Scale

150 grams Full-fat Greek yogurt (plain)
2 tablespoons Honey (or maple syrup/agave nectar)
23 tablespoons Chopped walnuts (or pecans/almonds)

Instructions

In a mixing bowl, whisk the Greek yogurt until creamy and soft.
In a small glass or jar, add half of the prepared yogurt.
Add one tablespoon of honey over the yogurt layer.
Sprinkle some of the chopped walnuts onto the honey.
Add the remaining yogurt on top of the walnut layer.
Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of honey over the second yogurt layer.
Generously sprinkle the remaining chopped walnuts on top for garnish and texture.
Serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure the Greek yogurt is plain and full-fat for the best creamy texture. Can substitute with a thick plant-based yogurt. Toasting the walnuts before chopping can enhance their flavor. Maple syrup or agave nectar are good sweet alternatives to honey. Pecans or almonds can be used instead of walnuts.
